I'm working on the development of a pilot for a new entertainment show centred around Charlotte Church.
I'm currently looking for Charlotte's biggest fans from around the world. If any of you have done anything crazy for Charlotte, maybe travelled around the world to see her, tattood a picture of her on your back, or set up a shrine in your home... please get in touch, I'd love to hear from you!

Hi Helen... Sorry to have taken so long in replying to your message, but health matters have kept me low-key for quite some time. However, on the subject of "World's Number One Fan" - well, the UK's #1 if nothing else - I feel it only right that I at least lay claim to said title. I've been running the JustCharlotte website since falling in love with the voice of an angel during "Charlotte Church in Concert" as shown on UK TV so many (it seems) years ago. I swore then I'd never turn my back on her, and promoted her as "the best thing to happen to the New Millennium". I still believe that, despite not appreciating ALL she does and says on her new show. The show's concept is solid enough, but I personally feel the perceived "need" for strong language is wide open to debate! I've met Charl on several occasions and even travelled from Lincoln to Cardiff to watch the PBS filming of "Enchantment". You can catch the odd glimpse of my snow-white hair "up in the gods" in several shots - lol. Spent an entire fortnight at the Church Hotel and experienced James's superb cooked breakfasts first-hand with my good friend and American A/V Producer, Gary Scovil ( www.vision-media.tv) for whom I've built two websites - plus another for his Father, the famed astronomer Charles E Scovil ( www.stamford-observatory.org). But then again, that's what I do... Build websites for fun (and a little profit whenever an offer comes my way). You can check out my portfolio at www.savagedesign-uk.com Despite being 61 (panic not - it's only the number 16 in reverse) I love what I do, and all I want out of life is to continue watching "our Charl" go from strength-to-strength. Oh, and by the way, I'm usually addressed as "the professor" or "the saint" amongst my web friends... The former being the more appropriate methinks. It's darned hard being saintly all the time So... What can I do for you? JustCharlotte, the website, is on the verge of closure, despite seeing in excess of 6,537,205 (unique) hits since launch. Not quite your ITV or BBC (or even Channel Four), but not bad for what started out as a thirteen-page fan-site way back when! Currently, the site carries in excess of 5,600 pages! Hopefully, the closure won't actually happen, but it's going to be a difficult decision balancing my health - or lack of it - against what little spare time I still have available to maintain such a large site single-handed! My real claim to fame? Well, my wife kissed Charlotte - twice, but I got to kiss her Mum - on more than one occasion... ... James had to make do with a hand-shake as I felt it might be a little "unwise" to hug an ex-rugby football player. On the other hand, my wife, Shirley, felt exactly the opposite! Best regards, Simon www.JustCharlotte.co.uk
